Classic Meatballs with Tomato Basil + Portobello Bolognese Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

1 bag of Daily Harvest Tomato Basil + Portobello Bolognese Pasta

1 pound 80% lean ground beef (could sub with half ground pork)

1 large egg, beaten

¼ cup breadcrumbs
-
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
-
¼ cup finely chopped onion
-
2 teaspoons minced garlic
-
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

2 Tablespoons chopped fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the meat, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Use a medium cookie scoop or spoon to scoop the meat mixture. Form into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.

Bake uncovered for 17 to 20 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle. Turn halfway through to evenly cook the exterior of the meatballs.

While meatballs are baking, prepare Daily Harvest Tomato Basil + Portobello Bolognese Pasta according to the directions on the packaging.

Serve finished meatballs over cooked pasta and garnish with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
