What is Daily Harvest?
Daily Harvest makes it easier for you to eat more organic fruits and vegetables, which can do all kinds of things for you–increase your energy, boost your inner and outer glow, and help you achieve your health goals. Our food is healthy for the planet, too. We're committed to supporting the advancement of organic and regenerative farming practices, which can yield more nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables (and we swear they taste better).
How does Daily Harvest develop its food?
All Daily Harvest food is crafted by our in-house chefs and nutritionists. To create a new item, they often start with a functional need (like immune support or gut health), a hard-to-find ingredient, or an inspiring meal they've had. Sometimes, they even co-create with our community (you!). All of our food is crafted to be as naturally delicious and nourishing as the ingredients they're built on. That's why we partner with farmers who don't settle for anything less than the most flavorful, heartiest, most nourishing fruits and vegetables, which inspire our in-house chefs and nutritionists to work their magic.
How does Daily Harvest work?
Daily Harvest makes it easy to eat more fruits and vegetables by offering a variety of nourishing, chef-crafted options for any time of day. You can order via subscription or one-time purchase.
If you create a subscription, you can modify your items, delivery schedule, and subscription whenever you'd like. Manage your subscription from our website or download our mobile app to make your experience even smoother.

How do I opt in to Daily Harvest push notifications?
When you download the app, you'll be prompted with a notification asking whether you want to receive updates from Daily Harvest. You can also opt into these notifications in your device settings.
How do I opt in to Daily Harvest SMS text messages?
You can opt into SMS text messages by checking the opt-in box at checkout or by creating an account and adjusting the subscription settings on your account page.
How do I opt out of Daily Harvest push notifications?
You can opt out of push notifications from Daily Harvest in your mobile phone's device settings.
How do I unsubscribe from Daily Harvest emails?
You can unsubscribe from emails in the footer of any marketing email from Daily Harvest. You can also manage your email subscription from your account settings.
How do I subscribe to Daily Harvest emails?
If you're not yet a customer, you can sign up at the bottom of our website or in the pop-up you receive when you first visit. Otherwise, you can sign up for emails at checkout.
How do I update my contact information?
To update your phone number or email address, navigate to my plan > my account > contact Info > edit.
Please note this feature is only available on the website and not accessible via the Daily Harvest app.
Is there a Daily Harvest app?
We are happy to offer an app for both iOS and Android users to make managing your plan easier than ever. Make sure that you are running the latest version of our app to access its latest features.

How do I change my password?
Using our new secure login, you no longer need a password to access your Daily Harvest account. Just head to the login page and enter your email address to receive a 6-digit secure code that you can use to access your account.

Where can I find Daily Harvest online?
There are several ways to shop Daily Harvest online. Our website offers the most product variety and orders are delivered right to you in a flexible cadence. We also offer curated, one-time-purchase bundles through the Shop Mobile App and Google Shopping. Will I receive an Order Reminder?
If you have a subscription, order reminders will be sent via email two days before your order is processed. You do not need to opt in to our newsletter to receive these transactional reminders.
Additionally, if you haven’t already, you can download our app so you can easily manage your plan moving forward with push notifications enabled. You can find the iOS App in the Apple Store by clicking here and the Android App in the Google Play Store by clicking here.

How do I redeem a gift card?
To redeem a gift card on a subscription purchase, you must apply it in your cart/box before the checkout process. For one-time box purchases, simply enter the code for your gift card at the checkout.
How do I check the balance on my gift card?
You can check your gift card balance by entering it on this page.
Can I give Daily Harvest as a gift?

Packaging/Sustainability
What do I do with the dry ice?
PLEASE please please do not touch the dry ice. Keep it out of the reach of children and animals, and don't place it on any tiled or solid surfaces (like in a sink) as it can cause damage. The best way to dispose of the dry ice is to leave it in your box in a well-ventilated area until it has all dissipated. Once all of the remaining dry ice is gone (usually about 24 hours after delivery), you can recycle the box and liner.

Payment/Pricing
I used my HSA/FSA with TrueMed to complete my purchase. How long does it take for me to receive my Letter of Medical Necessity?
Generally it takes 2-5 hours but may take longer depending on the time of day that your order is placed. In some cases, Truemed’s provider team will require additional time to issue a letter of medical necessity based on the needs associated with an individual qualification survey. If you aren’t seeing your letter in your inbox, check spam, then reach out to us at support@truemed.com for help.
I want to use my HSA/FSA to place my order. I don’t have enough funds on my HSA/FSA account for the entire purchase. Can I still use Truemed?
Yes. You can still submit for partial reimbursement.
For example: If you purchase an eligible item for $100 but only have $60 in your account, you can reimburse $60 of your purchase with your tax-free funds (with the remaining $40 paid for as normal).
I want to use my HSA/FSA card. What can I purchase with Daily Harvest using those funds?

How do I update or change my payment method?
To update your payment method via the website, go to my plan and click on update payment method at the left panel of the page.
To update your your payment method via the app, go to the calendar icon. Under your next delivery click "Manage Plan" and update your payment method there.

What payment methods does Daily Harvest accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.
Online orders can also be placed via ShopPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo and PayPal depending on your device settings.

Can I use my FSA/HSA dollars on a Daily Harvest order?
Yes, if qualified. Simply select Truemed as your payment option at checkout and use your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card. If you do not have sufficient HSA/FSA funds, you can split your payment between your credit card and HSA/FSA card. Please note: HSA/FSA cannot be used on subscriptions and can only be used on one-time purchases.

Placing an Order
What does it mean when an item is labeled "Leaving Soon"?
If you see "Leaving Soon" listed on an item, it means that we have limited stock remaining. This is your last chance to stock up before the item is no longer available. Once it's gone, it won't be restocked—so if it's a favorite, now’s the time to grab it!
What does "Last Few!" mean?
"Last Few!" means that we are temporarily low on inventory but you will still be able to keep ordering this item. You can keep the item as-is or reduce the quantity, but you cannot increase the quantity anymore than what's included in your box.
Note: Once an item marked "Last Few!" is removed/deleted from your box, you are not able to re-add that item to your box until it is back in stock again.

When should I expect to be charged for my order?
If you are a subscriber, you will be charged three days before your scheduled delivery day.
What is the minimum amount I can order?
To check out with frozen items only, your order must contain a minimum of 6 items.
Some items such as Pea Protein do not require a minimum purchase.
Do you have a Loyalty Program?
You can receive a free smoothie on every order if you order at least one box per calendar month. There is no order value threshold - just one box per month keeps your eligibility active!

How do I place my first order?
You can choose to place one time orders with the products you select or set up a subscription, which includes discounted pricing, our loyalty program and several other benefits.
Enter your shipping preference and billing information at checkout. We'll follow up with an email confirmation and give you a heads-up once the box has shipped.
Sign up for a subscription to save money on your order and future orders! If you sign up for a subscription, you can modify your items, delivery schedule, and plan preference whenever you'd like. Plus, you can customize our flexible deliveries and variable plan options based on your needs.

What does "Out of Stock" mean?
If an item is labeled "Out of Stock", it means that we are currently unable to fulfill that item as it is temporarily unavailable. You won't be able to add it to your order at this time. Want to know when it's available to order again? Click on "notify me" to receive an email when we have this back in stock! Link to account page for OOS preferences.
Note: If you have an out of stock item in your box, then we will either swap it with a personalized recommendation or temporarily remove the item from your box.

How do I prepare a smoothies?
Here's how to prepare a smoothie.
1. Remove the cup from the freezer and give the sides a gentle squeeze or shake to loosen the ingredients.
2. Remove the lid and peel off and discard the protective seal.
3. Fill the cup with your preferred liquid (suggestions are on each cup.), Pour everything into a blender and blend until smooth.
4. Pour the smoothie back into your cup, add a straw, and sip..
For the best (and most delicious) results, prepare the whole cup at once.
Consume by best-by date.
How many servings are in each smoothie?
Each smoothie cup contains one serving.
How do you prepare Daily Harvest?

Is Daily Harvest dairy-free, soy-free and/or gluten-free?
All of our food is dairy-free and gluten-free. Most of our recipes are also soy-free, but we do have a few items that include miso and tamari (which are made from fermented soy). Recipes that are not soy-free include this information on both the side of the container and on the item's description page. Is Daily Harvest healthy?
Daily Harvest meals are made with wholesome, organic fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, with no artificial ingredients. They’re naturally high in fiber and nutrient-rich to support everyday wellness.
Is Daily Harvest safe to consume when pregnant or nursing?
Daily Harvest creates food for diverse lifestyles, flavor preferences, and specific dietary needs. We use plant-based ingredients, and offer a wide variety of recipes. To find food that may fit your needs, click here and filter based on dietary needs or likes and dislikes.

What is the Whole30 program?
The Whole30 program is a 30-day reset that removes added sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy, and certain additives to help you focus on whole, minimally processed foods. After 30 days, foods are reintroduced to help you understand how they work for your body.
How does Daily Harvest help simplify the Whole30 meal planning process?
We offer pre-portioned, Whole30-compliant meals that require no cooking or prepping. The meals are delivered to your door and kept frozen for maximum convenience, removing the need for planning, shopping, and extensive meal prep so you can focus on following the program itself.
Are Daily Harvest meals compliant with the Whole30 program?

What is Plant-Based Whole30, and how does it differ from the Original Whole30?
Plant-Based Whole30 is the plant-based version of the Original Whole30 program. It replaces animal proteins with legumes, soy, nuts, seeds, and plant-based protein powders, while still removing grains, sugar, and alcohol.
How does Daily Harvest help with GLP-1 side effects like nausea?
While everyone’s experience with GLP-1 medications is different, some people prefer drinking a smoothie instead of eating a full meal when their appetite is low or when they’re feeling nauseated. Ingredients like ginger may help ease nausea for some, but we can’t guarantee any specific effect.
What specific nutrients are emphasized in the GLP-1 collection?

Do your protein products contain artificial ingredients or sweeteners?

How do I add Daily Harvest pea protein powder to my smoothies and breakfast bowls?
Our Pea Protein Powder is easily mixed into your favorite DH smoothie or breakfast bowl to level it up and take on your day. Simply add one scoop (included in the bag) and blend/stir until well combined.
Is Daily Harvest paleo?

Does Daily Harvest use organic ingredients?
Please refer to the ingredient list for each item. The organic ingredients are identified as "organic." Any item labeled as "certified organic" means that 95%+ of the ingredients are organic. If an item is labeled "made with organic," it means that 70%+ of the ingredients are organic.
Where can I find nutritional information?
Nutritional information can be found under all ingredients and nutrition facts tabs on each of our item description pages and on the sides of individual containers. Please note: Due to the handcrafted nature of our recipes, precise nutritional values may vary slightly and do not factor in the additional ingredients that you may add on your own.
What ingredients are used in Daily Harvest Organic Pea Protein Powder?
Made from a single ingredient, our Pea Protein powder has 24g of pure plant protein per scoop. No artificial flavors. No additives. 0g sugar. Dairy-free + easy to digest.
How long do my frozen Daily Harvest items last in the freezer?
When stored in a freezer at a temperature below 0°F, our items will maintain their peak quality through the best-by date listed on the container. Our product shelf life helps us deliver our foods' best flavor and appearance. Note that product shelf life can be influenced by how often your freezer is opened (because warm air can lead to freezer burn).
Shipping
Where do you deliver?
We only ship within the continental US and do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska. If we don't ship to your location, you will see a notification in the checkout process and you will not be able to place an order.
How do I change my delivery address or send a box to a different location?
If you have a subscription and need to update your delivery address via the website, head to the "My plan" person icon after you log in. Select "Update" next to "SHIPPING ADDRESS." Enter your new Shipping info and select "SAVE."
To update your subscription's shipping address via the app, go to the calendar icon. Under your next delivery click "Manage Plan" and update your shipping address there.
This new address will become your default shipping address to which all future shipments will be delivered.

Will my frozen products stay frozen in transit?
We pack our boxes with dry ice to make sure your food stays frozen while in transit. We modify the amount of dry ice according to regional weather and seasonal patterns to ensure that each box is packed with enough to stay frozen during shipment and through the end of your scheduled delivery day. Daily Harvest food is perishable and must remain frozen to ensure the highest level of ingredient quality and food safety, so it's important to get your items into a freezer ASAP after delivery.
What happens if I’m not home when my box is delivered?
In most cases, you don't need to be home in order for your box to be delivered. Carriers will leave the package without a signature. We modify the dry ice amount according to regional weather and seasonal patterns to ensure that each box is packed with enough to stay frozen for through the end of your scheduled delivery date. It is probable that the shipment will melt if not received as scheduled.
If for any reason the carrier chooses not to leave the package without someone present, they or a member of the Daily Harvest team will contact you to coordinate a rescheduled delivery as soon as possible. Your tracking information will also be updated accordingly. Just remember: Most Daily Harvest food is perishable and frozen, so it's important to get your items into a freezer ASAP after delivery.
How do Daily Harvest deliveries work?
Daily Harvest allows you to purchase your items based on your needs and preferences.
Subscriptions are a great way to receive your items on a regular basis without needing to remember to reorder. We also offer one-time purchases if you're not quite ready to commit to a recurring subscription.
After any order ships, we'll email you tracking information for easy monitoring.
Subscriptions & Account Management
What is the cutoff to change or skip a scheduled delivery?
You can now edit your next order up to three days before your estimated delivery day. We'll send you a reminder via email at least 24 hours in advance of your order cutoff so you don’t miss the chance to make changes before you're billed. Log in to your account to make adjustments.
Can I alter an item?
We are not able to modify individual items. To find exactly which of our food fits your lifestyle, click here and filter with dietary needs or likes and dislikes. Please note: All our items are made in a facility that processes dairy, nuts, soy, and gluten. If you have any questions, please email hello@daily-harvest.com and we'll help you out.
How do I view my order history?
To view your order history, log into your account and go to your my plan page. At the bottom of the page, you'll find a section called previous orders with a link to the order history page. Orders from April 2024 to the present date are visible there. For orders placed before April 2024, please contact our Care Team directly at hello@daily-harvest.com.
I have a subscription. How do I pause my plan?
To temporarily pause your plan for 6 weeks, please follow these steps:
- Go to the website and click on "My Plan" in the top right-hand corner of your browser.
- On the "My Plan" page, scroll to the bottom and click "Pause for 6 Weeks" in the bottom left corner.
- A pop-up will appear, showing you the date when your deliveries will automatically resume. Click "Confirm & Pause" to complete the pause process.
Please note: You’ll need to manage your deliveries by skipping or un-skipping orders after the 6 weeks continue, otherwise, your plan will automatically resume deliveries after 6 weeks on the date specified.You can always manage your plan and upcoming deliveries via the "My Plan" page.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can skip a delivery by going to the my plan page and adjusting your settings. Under the upcoming order section, you'll have the option to toggle and skip deliveries for upcoming orders. You can also cancel your plan entirely by navigating to cancel plan, entering your cancellation reason, and selecting submit.
If you have multiple plans under the same subscription, you will need to cancel each individual plan to fully cancel your subscription.

To change food in your box head to the "Your box" box icon after you login to the website.

Yes. The best way to do this is to go through checkout on the website with the same email address you log in with and start a new plan. We do recommend managing your Daily Harvest through a single plan and adjusting it as needed rather than having multiple plans under a single email account- it's just easier this way.
I have a subscription. How do I resume my plan?
To resume your subscription plan, log into your account and go to the my plan section. Click on restart plan to reactivate your subscription.
Is there a minimum duration required if I sign up for a Daily Harvest subscription?
Daily Harvest requires no duration minimums. Feel free to cancel anytime before your next order cutoff to avoid being charged for your next order.
I signed up for a subscription. Is my subscription automated?
Yes. If you sign up for a subscription, your orders will automatically be fulfilled and shipped according to your selected delivery scheduled. These are recurring deliveries and must be managed via the "My Plan" portion of your Account.
