Creamy Pumpkin Pasta Sauce

1/4 cup broth of choice 1/2 cup milk or cream of choice 1/2 cup PSL cubes (~12 cubes)
1 tbsp nutritional yeast or parmesan6-8 sage leaves
Olive oil, salt and pepper 1/2 lb pasta of choice, cooked (gnocchi or other short pasta like orecchiette is great here)

Directions

Heat broth, milk and PSL cubes in a pot over medium-low heat until it reaches a simmer.
Add in the nutritional yeast/parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.
In a small sauce pan, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil with the sage leaves in a single layer over medium-low heat.
Cook until the sage leaves start to get crispy, about 3-6 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Toss cooked and drained pasta with the pumpkin sauce, and garnish with freshly cracked pepper and crispy sage leaves.
