NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE

Daily Harvest may offer incentives such as a coupon, discount, or promotional item in exchange for personal information (e.g., email or sms sign-up). We may also offer a loyalty program that will provide certain perks, such as rewards or exclusive offers, as well as other programs like sweepstakes or contests. Each of these incentives or programs (hereinafter, “Programs”) may be considered a “financial incentive” or a “bona fide loyalty program” under one or more U.S. state privacy laws. Through participating in these Programs, you may provide us with any of the categories of information set forth in the “Categories of Personal Data We Collect” section of our Privacy Policy depending on how you chose to interact with us when, and after, you opt-into a Program. Daily Harvest reserves the right to change or terminate the Programs at any time at its sole discretion.

Customers are not required to participate in any Program. If you wish to opt out of a Program you can do so by contacting us at hello@daily-havrest or otherwise following the instructions set forth in the specific Program’s terms and conditions, if applicable. Details on specific Programs are below.

Refer a Friend

Personal Identifiers: specifically, referrals' email addresses.

Summary of financial incentives + description of terms
This financial incentive provides a discount on the customer’s next purchase after the referral uses the customer’s referral link to make their first purchase.

To participate in the Refer a Friend Program, a customer must provide a referral’s email address through the Refer a Friend Program on www.dailyharvest.com. The customer’s referral is then sent an email and must use the link contained therein to create an account and make their first purchase in order for the customer and referral to receive the financial incentive. If the customer does not provide a referral’s valid email address or the referral does not create an account and make their first purchase using the referral link, both are ineligible for the financial incentive.

Price difference / Explanation of how the financial incentive or price or service difference is reasonably related to the value of the data received.
A percentage or dollar amount off the customer’s next order and the referral’s first order.

Daily Harvest does not assign a monetary value to the data that collected in connection with the Refer a Friend Program, however, in its good-faith estimation, the value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value Daily Harvest receives from having a referral’s valid electronic contact information. The method for calculating the value would include the value of anticipated revenue from new customers generated by the Refer a Friend Program, costs associated with facilitating and managing the incentive and Refer a Friend Program, expenses incurred in the storage, retention and use of the data, and all other costs reasonably related to the incentive and Refer a Friend Program. The incentive may fluctuate based on time of year, applicable social events such as upcoming holidays, higher or lower sales months, and reviews of which percentages provide better incentives to purchase Daily Harvest products.

Loyalty Program

Summary of financial incentives + description of terms
This financial incentive provides a free item in the customer’s next purchase if the future purchase is in the same or the following month.

To participate in the Loyalty Program, a customer must make a purchase on www.dailyharvest.com. Purchases of gift cards or gifted items do not qualify.

Explanation of how the financial incentive or price or service difference is reasonably related to the value of the data received.
Daily Harvest does not assign a monetary value to the data that collected or used in connection with the Loyalty Program, however, in its good-faith estimation, the value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value Daily Harvest receives from having/using such data. The method for calculating the value would include the value of anticipated revenue as a result of the Loyalty Program, costs associated with facilitating and managing the incentive and Loyalty Program, expenses incurred in the storage, retention and use of the data, and all other costs reasonably related to the incentive and the Loyalty Program. The incentive may differ based on time of year, applicable social events such as upcoming holidays, higher or lower sales months, and reviews of which items provide better incentives to continue to purchase Daily Harvest products.

Discount in Exchange For Email/SMS Opt-in

This financial incentive provides a discount applicable to a customer’s future purchase. A customer must provide their email and/or phone number in accordance with the terms of offer.

Explanation of how the financial incentive or price or service difference is reasonably related to the value of the data received.
Daily Harvest does not assign a monetary value to the data that collected in connection with this Program, however, in its good-faith estimation, the value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value Daily Harvest receives from having a customer’s electronic contact information. The method for calculating the value would include the value of anticipated revenue from a new customer who otherwise may not have purchased from Daily Harvest, costs associated with facilitating and managing the incentive and the Program, expenses incurred in the storage, retention and use of the information, and all other costs reasonably related to the incentive and the Program. The incentive may fluctuate based on time of year, applicable social events such as upcoming holidays, higher or lower sales months, and reviews of which percentages provide better incentives to purchase Daily Harvest products.
