Fish with Detox Veggies

Ingredients
Yield

1 portion

Protein
1 fish fillet (4–6 oz) — cod, halibut, salmon, or tilapia

Vegetables
Choose 2 portions, ~1 cup each
Broccoli (steamed or roasted)
Spinach (fresh or lightly sautéed)
Bell peppers (raw slices or roasted)
Kale (lightly sautéed with lemon)

Optional -

1 tsp olive oil (optional)
Fresh lemon wedges
Garlic powder, paprika, or chili flakes (to taste)
Optional: hot sauce or fresh salsa




Directions

Prepare the fish

Pat fish dry, drizzle lightly with olive oil (optional), and season with garlic powder, paprika, a pinch of salt, and black pepper.


Cook the veggies

If using leafy greens (spinach, kale): sauté quickly in a nonstick pan with lemon juice.

For hearty veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, asparagus, peppers): roast or air fry at 375°F for 10–15 minutes until crisp-tender.


Assemble the plate

Place fish fillet in the center.
Arrange 2 portions of vegetables around it.
Garnish with fresh lemon juice and herbs.


Optional flavor boost

Top fish with a drizzle of olive oil, or extra squeeze of lemon for brightness.
