We’ve all been there. A tempting cupcake from another coworker’s birthday is staring you in the face. Was your entire freaking office born this month? Next time, be armed. With a delicious smoothie that tastes like carrot cake and feels like victory. We like a creamy base like almond or coconut milk with this blend, but good old H20 works well too!

This is one of my favorites! I'm not even a huge carrot cake fan, but this has all the delicious flavor without the weird texture. It's pretty gingery, but I really like ginger. It is absolutely a dessert replacement I am more than happy to make.

I like this one a lot, but I actually found it too sweet (which isn't a common complaint for me). I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk as my mixer, so maybe I should try something even less sweet, but I think between the bananas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and dates, that's a lot of really sweet produce. In my ideal universe, I'd replace some of the dates with more carrots maybe. I also could have done with more cinnamon and ginger since I didn't find it that spicy. Fantastic concept, but I think that a few tweaks could improve it in my book.

I absolutely LOVE this smoothie. I immediately said it tasted just like carrot cake and didn't know that's how it was advertised until just before I wrote this review. It has the perfect consistency, I mix it with greek yogurt and good 'ol H2O. Yummm!
