Tastes Like: Classic Green Combo

In New York and LA, drinking green might as well be an accessory. But we’ll take it — when it costs less than a Birkin and comes with far more health benefits. Our classic blend is filled with dark leafy greens for detoxification, citrus for alkalinity, celery for hydration and balance, and turmeric and ginger for circulation and anti-inflammation.

We like a light base like coconut or maple water with this blend, but good old H20 works well too!

This had a very bad taste. Normally I love green juices/smoothies, so I'm not sure what it was. I think the coconut water enhanced the bad taste. Had to add a lot of pineapple to mask it.

I cheated a little and blended this with pineapple coconut water for a little extra sweetness. The flavor was good, not too sweet, but the texture was fibrous. Texture probably won't phase those who are green smoothie regulars.

This is a great green smoothie. You get a hint of the ginger and lemon and it's nice and light if you mix with coconut water. If you're expecting a creamy smoothie, a green drink is not for you!
